Implemented the basic VR controls today. I can now walk around the scene using my Oculus Quest.
The player can now pick up and look at the pink donut that fell out of the box.
Added a special ability that the player can activate using an inventory item.
Added some playability to the test scene using keyboard and mouse controls.
Tangible result of today is a tiny test scene that I'll be turning into something playable over the next couple of days.
For the next couple of weeks I'm putting the turn-based game on hold and will be experimenting with a VR adventure game.
I'm finally warming up again to my game dev experiments. Let the dev days continue!
Kingpin now only tries to escape when he's in an alerted state.
Hooked up a very simple AI turn and made the necessary UI changes.
